Dear Life

Beschreibung:

Discover Alice Munro's powerful stories about ordinary people at the moments when chance, memory or desire changes everything.

Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature and the Man Booker International Prize, Alice Munro writes stories that move with quiet force through the accidents, choices and memories that can alter a life.

In Dear Life, chance meetings, family estrangements, and illicit affairs unfold across small towns, trains, houses and hospitals. Men and women look back at what they did, what they failed to understand, and what time has refused to soften. Munro's fiction finds strangeness in ordinary domestic life.

Precise, unsparing and luminous, Dear Life shows why Munro remains one of the essential writers of the modern short story.
